What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is at 3pm. Should you arrive earlier and your room is not yet ready, we will be happy to store your baggage for you. Feel free to relax in the Club Room or explore the city until your room is ready.
Check-out time is 1:00 PM. Please call our reception desk if your departure is delayed. We will make every effort to accommodate you.
Is there an age requirement to check in to the Hotel Elysée?
Yes. Hotel Elysée requires all guests to be at least 21 years or older in order to check into the hotel. All guests will be asked to provide a credit card and valid form of ID upon arrival. Children are always welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 years or older at all times.
Do you offer parking?
Yes, we have valet or self parking available at the garage next door to the hotel. The charge is $40.00 per 24 hour period and does not include in and out privileges.
Do you have a Resort Fee? If so, what’s included?
Yes, we charge a $25 per night resort fee inclusive of taxes. This nightly fee includes:

The Hotel Elysee offers light morning refreshments to all of our guests.
What neighborhood restaurants do you recommend?
Guests can enjoy world-renowned cuisine from restaurants such as the Monkey Bar, Cellini, BLT Steak, Le Bernardin, Casa Lever, Tao, Sushi-Ann, Dos Caminos, La Grenouille, Mr. Chow, Il Gatto Pardo, Nerai…just to name a few.
What is the smoking policy?
The Hotel Elysee is a smoke free hotel. Guests who wish to smoke must go outdoors. There is a $200 clean up fee for anyone who breaks this policy.
Are pets allowed?
Only service animals are allowed at the Hotel Elysée. If you have a service animal, please advise us at time of reservation. There is a $50 service fee per stay for deep cleaning and as always, guests are liable for any damages to the room. The service animal may not be allowed to be left in the room unaccompanied.

What is the best form of transportation from the airport?
From LaGuardia Airport:
- Taxi: $40-$60 + tip and tolls
- Luxury Sedan: all-inclusive $134.00.
- Public Transportation; subway train: $2.75
- Taxi: $52 flat rate + tip and tolls to anywhere in Manhattan
- Luxury Sedan: all-inclusive $163.00.
- Public Transportation; subway & air-train: approx. $10
From Newark Airport:
- Taxi: (approx) $60-$70 + tip & tolls
- Luxury Sedan: all-inclusive $176.00.
- NJ Transit from Newark Airport Airtran to Penn Station: (approx)$10.50

Can the hotel accomodate a large family?
There are many options available to accommodate a traveling family. We suggest that you please call the hotel directly or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for arrangements.
Please note that groups are considered to be five or more rooms. Please contact our Sales Department to confirm rates, availability and cancellation policy.
Do I need a credit card to check in?
Guests must provide a credit card to the hotel at time of check in to guarantee the hotel charges. We recommend you do not use a debit card for this. When you arrive and register, we must get authorization approval from your bank or card issuer for the amount equal to the room and taxes due for the stay as well as an additional $50 per day to allow for incidental charges during your stay such as phone service, room service, valet service and more.
A hold may be placed on your card account for the full authorized amount, through your date of check-out and such hold may not be released for 72 hours from the date of check-out or longer at the discretion of your card issuer. Our tip for travelers is whether you stay with us or at any other hotel, please be sure before your stay to secure a credit limit on your card that will comfortably allow for your room and taxes as well as the pre-authorization for incidentals plus all the shopping and activities you’ll want to enjoy in NYC.
Prepaying your stay before you arrive will get you the best rate on our website and will also limit the amount we authorize to just the $50 per day for incidentals. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com
Do you offer Laundry/Dry Cleaning Service?
Absolutely! We offer same day dry cleaning for articles handed in before 9:00am Monday to Saturday. Laundry/Valet bags and forms are available in the bedroom closet.
Does the Hotel Elysée speak my language?
We have a small but international staff and among all of us, here are some of the languages spoken at the Hotel Elysée:
